Your role
As a Business Analyst working within our Mortgage Feature Team (MFT), you facilitate the delivery of changes across Lloyds Bank The Netherlands. You gather and validate business needs and translate them into documented requirements for implementation. You carry out in-depth (gap) assessments and support the validation of potential solution scenarios and verify system capabilities for new initiatives and epics. Close cooperation with the business, suppliers and other stakeholders is key. This role is within the Change Team of Lloyds Bank in The Netherlands reporting. You will report to the Manager Change and Project Portfolio.
Your responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements
- Explain technical challenges to users and create workable solutions together with business stakeholders
- Design and develop efficient and sustainable data warehouse solutions with stakeholder requirements
- Manage the development route to live by implementing his/her work packages into the various test environments and into the live environment, and maintain Data products throughout their lifecycle of deployment, enhancement, and support
- Validate data warehouse solution designs from third party provider with regards to overall architecture principles, efficiency and maintainability
- Coordinate the development of data warehouse changes and reports in an agile (scrum) team
- On an ad-hoc basis support the daily ETL process and any required fixes
- Engage with other architects in the bank to align data warehouse development with overall architecture strategy
- Ensure adherence to development standards and processes within Lloyds Bank NL and Lloyds Banking Group
- Continuously drive the product development within BI with regards to data provisioning from the data warehouse, reports, analytical solutions and data visualisation with a focus on business needs, innovation and efficiency in order to enable data-driven management and self service BI.

This role is within the Mortgage Feature Team (MFT), which is part of the bigger Change team of Lloyds Bank The Netherlands. Our Change team in general facilitates innovation and transformation within the bank, with the MFT specifically focussing on our mortgage product. You will report to the Manager Change and Project Portfolio.

You and your experience
Experience and Knowledge
- >3 years relevant work experience within Business Analyst role
- Experience working in the Dutch Financial Sector is a plus
- Knowledge of and experience with the product domain Mortgages is a plus; from product features to key processes and suppliers
- Relevant Business Analyst certifications (such as ECBA, CCBA and CBAP, CBDA) are a plus
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and JIRA
- Familiar with Agile and/or Scrum principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business studies
Skills and Capabilities
- Structured thinking & listening skills
- Analytical with good attention to detail, whilst also capable of seeing the bigger picture (having a helicopter view)
- Capable to gather requirements and create deliverables, e.g. impact analyses, business cases, decision / solution documents
- Proficient in self-organising and time management, in line with sprint and epic planning
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
- Presentation skills (e.g. hosting meetings / workshops)
- Flexible and pro-active attitude, able to act in diverse situations
- Eager to learn and able to use and share new skills and knowledge
- Able to cope with resistance
- Active stakeholder management: act as a business partner for PO and stakeholders
- Team player: developing strong working relationships and work collaboratively within the Feature team as well as across organizational levels
