Your role
We are currently working towards a future proof organization model that supports efficiency, transparency and scalability in a highly collaborative environment called ‘Labs’. In this new set up we're creating Labs that are organized around our products (NL Mortgages, NL Loans, NL Savings). Labs bring area’s closer together that are needed to deliver end to end customer products and outcomes.
We are looking for a Business Agility Manager (BAM) that will work in partnership with the Loans & Savings NL Feature Teams and, as part of the Platform Support Office (PSO) NL, drives the further roll-out of the Lab model in those area’s. S/he will drive effectiveness, efficiency and predictability to deliver value to customers and colleagues at pace. This will be achieved by working hand in hand with Feature Team & Lab colleagues. The role requires a strong blend of Agile knowledge, problem solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
The role sits within the PSO NL and reports to the Manager Change & Project Portfolio.
Your responsibilities
- Work with Feature Teams and supports the further roll-out of the organization model across our products
- Improve performance and productivity across teams, improving maturity to deliver faster
- Drive the accurate use of methods and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Hybrid). Advices and shares experience on the most appropriate methods use for the specific work required
- Coach, challenge and influence colleagues to get back on track to deliver, improve and accelerate performance.
- Mature the ways of working, supports effective planning and sequencing of the work
- Drive cadences aligned to the business cycle (Weekstart, Grand Demo, etc.)
- Attend agile ceremonies of teams where appropriate
- Coache Feature team members, the wider Lab(s) and where appropriate colleagues across the bank on change delivery methodologies, agile practices, ceremonies, and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Hybrid)
- Influence the organizational culture to embrace agility and to increase understanding of the complexities of Change delivery
- Support PSO NL in the creation of a central (knowledge) base to guide colleagues through designing standards, templates, trainings and workshops.

You and your experience
Experience and Knowledge
- Several years working experience in a similar role and environment
- Experience working in the Dutch Financial Sector is a plus
- Deep understanding agile frameworks (Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban)
- Excellent communication skills across all levels.
- Ability to inspire and influence diverse teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Relevant certifications (eg. PSM1 / PSM2, Lean/SaFe)
Skills and Capabilities
- Highly motivated proactive self-starter, comfortable offering guidance and leadership, both individually and at team levels.
- Able to develop strong working relationships and work collaboratively within the Lab as well as across organizational levels.
