Your role
We are looking for a Data Management Officer to join our Data department. In this role, you will work together with our Change, Compliance and IT teams to manage our Bank's data risk. You will act as an ambassador and advisor for Data Quality and contribute to build a culture of continuous improvement of Data Quality within Lloyds Bank.
Your responsibilities
As Data Management Officer at Lloyds Bank, you'll primarily focus on the following tasks:

Work together with Change, Compliance and IT to manage data risk and change (DSOC) within agreed risk appetite

Define, monitor and report on data management risk and control indicators

Maintain the data governance framework and procedures and implement the data governance framework

Assist and coordinate the data quality issue management

Assist implementation of and maintenance of data domain business data dictionaries, data quality requirements and controls of critical data

Support data stewards with identifying critical data and data quality rules

Contribute to the assessment of new suppliers and relevant contract negotiations and to the review of existing suppliers in the area of Data Management

Provide trainings in data management for data governance specific roles.

Act as an ambassador and advisor for Data Quality and contribute to build a culture of continuous improvement of Data Quality
Your team
This role is within the Data department and reports to the Data Management Lead. The Data Management officer is responsible for the company wide implementation of the data governance framework assist data governance activities.

You and your experience
Experience and Knowledge
- Professional experience in data management and project management of min 1-3 years

Knowledge of data management frameworks (ex. DAMA -DMBOK, DCAM)
Qualifications

Recognised university degree in a data related discipline
Skills and Capabilities

Excellent analytical skills

Capability to build effective and collaborative relationships

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Fluent in English (Dutch and/or German is a plus)
