Your role
We may be part of a large banking Group, but we’re a small, tight-knit bank with a focused business model and a young team. For our Change Team, we are looking for a PMO Manager with proven experience in delivering changes. You'll play a crucial role in managing and supporting change delivery, with a focus on regulatory and ECB readiness projects. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing governance, reporting, planning, and support services. You'll develop and implement PMO methodologies, tools, and processes, and act as the key liaison with project managers and product owners. Engaging with stakeholders across Lloyds Bank GmbH and Lloyds Banking Group in the UK, you'll ensure alignment with required actions and address risk, regulatory, and financial issues. If you're excited about PMO management in a regulatory and supervisory environment and want to make a difference, apply now!
A day in the life of a PMO Manager
No 2 days are the same in the life of a PMO manager. Let’s take a look on a Monday morning towards the end of the month. After your morning coffee or tea you have a daily with the project team, where you discuss the latest progress on ongoing activities and discuss the activities for the coming week. Afterwards you finish the draft agenda for the next Steering committee and discuss that with the Project Manager. Just before lunchtime you answer a couple of emails from colleagues requesting some information regarding your project.
You grab lunch with other Change team colleagues where you exchange updates regarding new changes, processes and general developments. You make a mental note for anything that might impact your project and share it with the project team later.
After lunch you dive into a governance process where you learn the why and the how of a specific process and then you start working on this governance deliverable. In order to complete the deliverable you need a short catch up with the project manager and engage a project SME on Teams. By 4 o’clock coffee time you have a deliverable ready for review by the Project Manager.
Towards the end of the day you process a couple of invoices and have a first go at the financial reporting.
