What are we looking for?

As our new Interim Risk Consultant you will be responsible for assisting in a wide range of non-financial risks within the business, within risk appetite and in accordance with the Group (Operational) Risk Management Framework, the Group Policy Framework and knowledge of local law and regulations (Netherlands and Germany).

Which team will you be joining?

This role is within the Non-Financial Risk & Economic Crime department of LB GmbH the Netherlands. Together with the colleagues within your team you report to the Team Lead Conduct & Operational Risk.

Your accountabilities

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Support in Outcome testing (Complaints, Sales, Customer in Financial Difficulties, Responsible Lending etc.) and Mystery shopping cases.
  • Support in creating of Complaints MI.
  • Write and/or review business processes in line with your risk activities.
  • Supporting with all risk management related activities.
  • Support in thematic reviews on Conduct principle related processes and/or procedures.
  • Involvement in Mystery shopping cases in consultation with Conduct colleagues.
  • Supporting in preparing of Conduct Risk Appetite Metrics (CRAMs).
  • Consolidation of information into standard reportings.
  • If and when required monitoring of ongoing controls and/or test plans in RCSA (One Risk Control Self-Assessment system)

Who are you and what do we ask from you?

  • You have excellent communication skills in Dutch, verbal and in writing (Understanding of English is a pre)
  • You’re able to organise workload, keep within deadlines and meet agreements.
  • You’re able to contribute to the increasing of risk mindset within the organisation and act as an example in this field
  • You’re a team player, positively critical and open to feedback.
  • You’re able to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues within the Dutch (and German and UK businesses).
